About Us

After the success of our first family bookshop, Foster's Little Book Shop of Barnsley, we decided that 2025 was our year to grow.

In June, we opened the doors to our new blue bookshop, Foster's Books, headed up by myself, Mr Foster. 

Here you'll find a more eclectic mix of new and second hand books, ranging from everything from autobiographies and history to first editions and out of print books. 

We've already garnered such an amazing amount of interest so far, and the support from our local community has been wonderful! 

We currently have our ground floor fully open, with our first floor set to open soon (well, just as soon as I have the time to renovate!) 

We'd love for you to come and visit, and see our second bookshop in all it's glory.
